Debuting the West Coast flagship of the luxurious and sustainable 1 Hotel in West Hollywood, we oversaw the marketing, public relations, and activations of this award-winning hotel.
Opening Event
To celebrate the official opening of 1 Hotel in West Hollywood, we worked cross-functionally with the hotel operations team, food and beverage, design, and our production partner, Gina Wade Creative, to ensure a seamless and memorable event. Over a thousand tastemakers, influencers, and celebrities attended the event, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Hannah Bronfman, Annie Lennox, and Jamie Foxx.
To bring this sustainable brand to life, we created a luxurious atmosphere, while upholding the brand’s mission of sustainability, featuring farm-to-table cuisine, the use of reclaimed materials throughout the event, and ensuring no plastic was used throughout the entire event. Activations included sound-healing, pottery, an interactive farmer’s market, and hand-painted portraits of guests.
Launch Campaign Video
To execute 1 Hotels’ promotional video and professional photo shoot, we wanted to demonstrate a luxurious lifestyle, Los Angeles sensibility, while staying authentic to the brand’s mission of environmental sustainability. We wanted to showcase these elements, while also boasting the destination, design, architecture, and offerings of the hotel.
We worked across many different departments in order to execute this week-long production, which included both videography and photography. We worked hand-in-hand with the brand’s design team to style each shot. For the lifestyle components, we collaborated with Style Lab to handpick daytime and nighttime looks for each actor/model to bring to life our hotel guests. We casted a diverse group of actors and models (various ages and looks) to represent the breadth of guests the hotel attracts and included pets and children to showcase that the hotel is pet-friendly and family-oriented. *The following case study was completed under employment at 1 Hotels.
